The Tax Equalization Department ensures the uniform assessment of all real property in Adams County. The assessment process places a value on this real property. Additionally, we administer property tax exemptions to those that qualify as well as property tax credits for veterans, the elderly, and the disabled.
We also serve as the city & county zoning administrative office. Building permits, conditional use permits, and zoning variances are initiated in this office.
